DUBUQUE – Rev. Lloyd Paul Ouderkirk, age 87, of Dubuque, passed away at 12:48 a.m., on Sunday, November 29, 2020, at Stonehill Care Center. To celebrate Fr. Paul’s life, family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, December 3, 2020, at St. John the Baptist Church, 241 Peosta Street, Peosta, Iowa. Linda Lou Moeller, Luana, Iowa died Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Elkader Care Center, Elkader, Iowa. She was born June 30, 1952 to Eldo and Mildred (Fette) Meyer in Oelwein, Iowa. She graduated high school with the MFL class of 1970.

Linda was united in marriage with Roger Moeller on August 7, 1971 at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmersburg, Iowa. Three children were born to this union. Throughout the years Linda worked at home helping on the farm. She later went on to work at Monona Wire and was a cook at various local establishments.

Kay Helen Ruckdaschel, age 77, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on Monday, November 2, 2020 surrounded by her family at her residence in Hayward, WI. She was born on December 3, 1942 in Postville, Iowa, the daughter of Robert and Irma (Krambeer) Meyer. She was united in marriage to Douglas Dean Ruckdaschel on September 3, 1961 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa. Kay graduated from Postville High School in 1960. She worked for Douglass Pharmacy for a few years before working for Schutte Furniture. Kay left work to raise her five children.

Michael (Mykal) Alan Luttrell, 58, of Postville, Iowa died Monday, November 9, 2020 in La Crosse, Wisconsin. He was born on October 12, 1962 to Emmitt and Nancy Jean Luttrell in California. Michael graduated from High School in Sylmar, California and earned a Computer Tech Degree from ITT Tech.

Madonna Agnes (Leahy) Dundee was born May 15, 1949 at her family home located outside of Rising Sun, WI to Mary (Wood) Leahy and Victor Leahy. On November 8, 2020 at the age of 71 Madonna, while surrounded by her three daughters, went home to her Father at Regional Health Services in Cresco, IA.

Beatrice Ellen Turner Lenth, 89, of Postville, Iowa died Thursday, November 5, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society of Postville. Beatrice was born January 27, 1931, the daughter of Harold and Ruby (Martens) Turner. Beatrice graduated from Postville High School in 1948.

Bea was united in marriage with Elden Lenth on August 14, 1949 at the Presbyterian Church in Postville. To this union three children were born: Georgene, Douglas and Barbara. Bea and Elden celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary in 2009.

Owen Fredrick Nuehring, age 74, of Wells, MN and formerly of Postville, IA; died Monday, November 2, 2020 at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN from natural causes. A Public visitation will be Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN from 1:00-3:00 PM. On Wednesday, November 11, 2020, there will be a funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia, IA at 2:00 PM with visitation one hour before the service at the church. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Winnesheik Co, IA. Face masks must be worn and social distancing will be observed.

Lavon Martins, 92, of Postville, Iowa died Friday, October 30, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society in Waukon, Iowa. Lavon was born September 4, 1928 to Larry and Bessie (Segrist) Ewing in Franklin Township, Iowa. She was baptized on April 17, 1938 and confirmed on October 2, 1955. She attended Forest Mills Country School and graduated from Waukon High School.

Helen Reierson, 86, of Elgin, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at Good Samaritan Society in West Union, Iowa. Helen Lora Alice Eberling was born April 2, 1934 to Elmer and Lucile (Hammond) Eberling. Helen graduated from Postville High School in 1951.

Helen was united in marriage with Joseph B. Reierson on April 13, 1954 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa. Helen and her husband spent their lifetime raising their five children, leading a Christian life and making a continued heritage on the “Reierson” Homestead near Gunder before retiring to Elgin in 1986.

James E. Klocke, 84, of Waukon, IA, formerly of Postville, IA, died Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse, WI. Graveside services with military honors will be held Saturday, October 31st, at 11:00 AM at Bethlehem Presbyterian Cemetery in rural Postville, IA, with Karla Johnson officiating. In consideration of concerns regarding Civid-19, social distancing and wearing of masks are required. Martin-Grau Funeral Home in Waukon is handling the arrangements.
