POSTVILLE — More than two dozen Postville Middle School and High School football players got a sneak peak at what lies ahead during Pirate Football Camp last week at the school complex.
Varsity Coach Kevin Johnson organized the camp, where he began to install the fundamentals students will need for the upcoming season. “From fourth-grade all the way up to 12th-grade we’re working on footwork, hand placement, getting your head on the right side on blocks, form tackling …,” he said. “Even though we can’t tackle at camp, we want to work on the techniques.”
