Easter Egg Hunt planned April 19

Postville’s annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 19 at 10 a.m. in Lulls Park. In case of inclement weather, an Easter carnival will be held in the Community Room of Northeast Iowa Wellness & Recreation Center.
The hunt, a yearly tradition, is sponsored by Club of the Hour and is open to all children between the ages of two and nine years old kids. Young hunters can hunt for plastic, toy-filled eggs and meet the Easter Bunny. Easter Bunny helpers will distribute gift bags to the hunters in attendance. Mi Dulce Elena Cake Shop & Bakery will be serving cupcakes to the hunters.
Parents and attendees can enjoy a cup of coffee during the hunt, as Postville Child Care will be at the park selling coffee. Bags of coffee will also be available for purchase.
The hunt is made possible by the contributions of many. Its financial support comes from a number of area businesses with a history of generosity.
Anyone wishing to make a financial contribution to the hunt may do so at the Postville Public Library, where a donation box has been set up.
