Robert L. Enyart

Robert L. Enyart, 93 died peacefully at the Good Samaritan Home in Postville, IA on Friday, March 18th, 2022. He chose to be cremated. There will be a private family service at a later date. 

He was born on February 12th 1929 to Hollis and Velma Enyart. He graduated from Postville High School in 1947. 

On August 26th 1951 Bob was married to Glenna Jarmes at the Community Presbyterian Church in Postville. To this union two sons and a daughter were born, Charles, Catherine, and Christopher. Bob was a farmer and loved the farming life. He especially enjoyed the field work where he spent many hours in a tractor. He also loved going to all the activities of his grandchildren and followed the articles in the newspapers of his great grandchildren. He loved watching the lowa Hawkeyes or any sport on TV. 

Surviving are his children, Charles (Dennis) Enyart, Santa Fe, NM, Catherine (Kermit) White, Postville, and Christopher (Kelly) Enyart, Albuquerque NM; five grandchildren Jennifer (Quentin) Schutte, Luana, Jeremiah (Jessica) White, West Union, Kim (Ryan) Enyart, Aztec, NM, Scott Allen and Amanda Enyart,  Albuquerque, NM; and great grandchildren Jasmine (Carter) Snitker, Hannah, Summer, and Khloe Schutte, JT and Kaden Stocker, Kaleb, Kyler, and Kendrick White, Ryanne Enyart, Ryan and Hunter Clarence, and a great great granddaughter arriving in May of this year. 

Also surviving are three brothers in law Jim and Dorothy Jarmes, Postville, Jack and Janet Jarmes, New Berlin, WI, and Jon Jarmes, Pasadena, CA, and many nieces and nephews. 

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Glenna, sisters Mary and her husband Myrten Strong and Ellen Schroeder, his brother in law Jay Jarmes and his wife Lucy, nieces Julie Jarmes and Cindy Strong, and nephews Alan and Cale Jarmes and Randy Schroeder.
