Return to Learn and Kindergarten Round-Up

The administration at Postville Community Schools has been working on the Return to Learn Plan in conjunction with the Department of Education and Keystone AEA. The plan must be submitted to the state by July 1. The Department of Education continues to add new information/rules/guidelines to the plan daily. The Plan will continue to change as it becomes more evident how the district will resume classes in August. Much will depend on the status of  COVID-19 as classes are set to resume.

Kindergarten Round-Up letters have been sent to potential students entering Postville Community Schools at the beginning of the 2020-21 school year. It is expected that 57 five and six year olds will be joining the student population at Cora B. Darling School. Students who will have reached their fifth birthday by September 15, 2020 are eligible to enter kindergarten or junior kindergarten. Kindergarten parents are asked to register their children during registration in August. Kindergarten Round-Up has tentatively been set for August 20.
