Frontier Fire Company puts new rescue unit into service

POSTVILLE -The Frontier Fire Company (formally Postville Fire Department under the City of Postville) recently purchased a new rescue unit

The $230,000 truck was purchased with funds that had been set aside - no grants were used - meaning that department funds have been depleted. 

Money from this year’s fund drive will go towards replenishing the Fire Department’s checking account. A portion of funds will also be placed in an equipment/truck fund, set aside to begin rebuilding for future purchases. 

The Frontier Fire Company, along with the Postville Volunteer Fire Department, Inc. are separate entities and have no direct ties to the City of Postville. Any donations made to the Fire Department stay with the Fire Department.  Donations may be made to P.O. Box 38.
