Dave Hartley

Dave Hartley, 61, of Postville, Iowa died Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at his home. He was born April 12, 1959 to John and Ruth (Anderson) Hartley in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Dave graduated in 1977 from Postville High School. Dave worked for Hartley Electric until he went to Farm Bureau in 2004.

Dave was united in marriage with Debra McKee on April 11, 1981. Three children were born to this union. Dave enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, golfing and spending time on the Mississippi with his family. He also enjoyed golf cart rides with his grandkids and spending time and playing jokes on his wife, Debra.

Surviving Dave are his wife, Debra Hartley of Postville, Iowa; his children, Brandon (Shannon) Hartley of Decorah, Iowa, Brian (Amanda) Hartley of Postville, Iowa and Tiffany (Ryan) Wulfekuhle of Delhi, Iowa; grandchildren, Gage, Clara and Nicholas Hartley, Maddox and McKenzi Hartley and Jayda Wulfekuhle with baby Wulfekuhle on the way; parents, John and Ruth Hartley of Postville, Iowa; siblings, Steve (Cindy) Hartley and Sue (Rick) Peterson; mother-in-law, Leone McKee; sisters-in-law, Pat Kneeland and Barb Gardner; and one brother-in-law, Kevin McKee.

Dave was preceded in death by his grandparents, Grant and Esther Hartley and Charles and Evelyn Anderson; father-in-law, Edwin McKee; and one brother-in-law, Ken McKee.

Visitation will be held from 3-8 pm on Friday, February 19, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville, Iowa.

Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville Iowa with Rev. Lynn Noel as the officiant.

Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing are required.
