The youth at St. Paul Lutheran Church, along with the director of Youth and Family Ministry, Christa Jacobson, are hosting their second annual Spring Market Vendor event this Saturday, March 29, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Along with a wide-variety of vendors selling unique and creative merchandise, there will be a bake sale and luncheon. The luncheon, which will include maid rites, baked beans, chips, a bar, and lemonade, as well as, the bake sale will be available for a free will donation. Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Jacobson explained, “The majority of the vendor fees, bake sale and luncheon profits will go to our Junior Youth program to help cover the costs of programming and the Youth Quake event they attend every February. However, a portion of the bake sale will go toward the high school service trip to Kansas City this summer.”

Christa added, “As we plan for our second event, we are extremely happy to welcome even more vendors. There will be something for everyone.”

“A new vendor this year,” She added, “Is The Tiny Tea Trailer that specializes in Boba Teas, which is a very popular drink for younger people. Postville’s prom is the same day as the vendor fair, so we encourage the prom goers to stop by for some prom fuel to give them enough energy to last the night.”

A few of the featured vendors include:

Garden of Eden: Succulents and small house plants. Grown with love.

Papa Jim’s Soaps: A selection of tallow soaps, tallow balm, kid’s soaps, bath balms, much more.

Ruth’s Gifts: Skin care line designed to bring intention into everyday life with provided Bible verses.

Other vendors who will be available to showcase their wares are: Crawford Creations, Taylr Made LLC, Mary Bilden, Brenda Hanson, Sue’s Crafty Creations, Neora, Milkhouse Metals LLC, Rodan & Fields Skin Care, T Designs, Kori Troendle, Grandma’s Junk Drawer, Paparazzi, Pampered Chef, Thirty-One, Scentsy, Creative Sewing, Vivaciously Plus, Melissa DuCharme, Sandra Meyer and PaperPie.
