Mary Ann Mohs Braun

Mary Ann Mohs Braun, 73 of Lake Ozark, Missouri formerly of Postville, Iowa and Harmony, Minnesota, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023. Mary was born May 16, 1950 to Harold E. and Eileen F. (Kruse) Mohs in Postville, Iowa. She graduated from Postville High School in 1968 and also earned her associates degree as a Medical Assistant.

On October 17, 1970 Mary was united in marriage with Gregory Braun. Two children were born to this union. Throughout the years, Mary worked in the medical field as a Medical Assistant. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, crocheting, bird watching, reading, and traveling. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader and member of the community band.

Surviving Mary are her husband, Gregory Braun of Lake Ozark, Missouri; children, Callie (Eric) Armstrong of Marshall, Wisconsin and Scott Braun (Diego Serafin Martinez) of Chicago, Illinois; grandchildren, Grayson Armstrong and Gabriel Armstrong; siblings, David Mohs (Scott Werntz), Dale (Deb) Mohs and Nancy (Robert) Radloff; and her sister-in-law, Diane Mohs.

Preceding Mary in death were her parents, Harold and Eileen Mohs; and brothers, Richard Mohs and in infancy, Dennis Mohs.

There will be a Visitation from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Schutte-Grau Funeral Home and Cremation Service in Postville, Iowa.

A Graveside Service will be at 2:00 pm on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at Postville Cemetery in Postville, Iowa with Pastor Lynn Noel officiating.
