Klein-Mahr Moody, Moore elected to Postville City Council

POSTVILLE – Devora Klein-Mahr, Laura Moody and Larry Moore were elected to the Postville City Council Tuesday in an election that did not prove to be close.

Klein-Mahr, Moore and Moody were the only candidates among those running to receive more than 300 votes, with Moore receiving 371 votes, Klein-Mahr 358 and Moody 357. The next closest candidate to the winning three was Rachel Sugar with 125 votes. Gloria Bass received 117 votes, Nechama Yehuda 109, James Johnson 35 and Jennifer Valdez 11.

Results are unofficial until canvassed by county boards of supervisors.
