Easter Carnival coming

An Easter Carnival is coming to Postville Saturday, March 30, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Turner Hall, 119 E. Greene St.

The carnival is open to children ages 2 through 9 years. Children will earn prize eggs by completing games. The games will include pat the tail on the bunny, bunny bowling, ducky fishing, carrot drop and hip hop races, to name just a few.

Children will be able to pet live rabbits, courtesy of Ray Rankin and family; they will be able to visit the Easter Bunny and receive a gift bag. In addition, children will have the opportunity to enjoy a cupcake, courtesy of Mi Dulce Elena Cake Shop & Bakery.

The Easter Carnival is made possible by Club of the Hour and then generous donations of time and money from local groups and businesses.

The Easter Carnival is offered this year, instead of Postville’s annual Easter Egg Hunt in Lull’s Park, due to the risk of inclement weather.
