Dorn C. Cook

Dorn C. Cook, a Postville native, passed away Sept. 10, 2023 in Chandler, Arizona, at age 60, following a short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Family and friends are invited to attend an inurnment ceremony for both Dorn and his parents, Noel and Rochelle Cook, on Saturday, Oct. 28, at 11 a.m., in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville.

He was the son of Noel and Rochelle Cook. He had four siblings: Lynn, Aaron, Collin and Corey. After college, Dorn founded a company called HBI to market a product he developed and patented for use by pharmaceutical companies in the testing phase of new drugs. He ran the company for many years before retiring to Arizona.

Dorn was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Aaron and his grandparents Cloy Sr. and Viola Schultz and Everett and Jeanette Cook. His body was donated for medical research, per his request.
