TAG students discover a love of ukulele music as they take lessons to improve their skills

Carolyn Combs, talented and gifted (TAG) teacher at Postville Community Schools for the past two years, loves to see her students excel in things that interest them as well as activities that are challenging and fun. Another goal of the TAG program is to teach  the students a skill that they are not familiar with.

For the past year, she has been working with a group of middle school and high school students as they become proficient in playing the ukulele. 

Members of the TAG Ukulele Club are Hailey Shipp, Hannah Neilsen, Audrey Ruff, Olivia Lansing, Emily Navarro, Kelleigh Martins, Andrea Loera, Aleesa Lavrenko and Kathleen Looney.
