Pirates fall to sixth ranked Waterloo Columbus 2-0

The Pirate soccer team was only able to play one game last week as the match against Decorah on April 10 was snowed out and will not be rescheduled.

Thursday the team traveled to Waterloo to play Columbus Catholic.

The Pirates gave up a goal with 20 minutes left on a long shot by Columbus. They also conceded another goal on a broken play six minutes later to the sixth ranked team.

This week’s game against Denver has been canceled. The Pirates are to play unranked Bellevue Marquette Catholic on Thursday at Bellevue.
