PHS Homecoming is rescheduled for October 19; Hall of Fame induction and Parents’ Night to be held as well

Due to circumstances out of the school district’s control,  Postville High School’s Homecoming activities have been postponed until October 19. Although the Pirates had already chosen their Homecoming candidates, and had planned their week-long activities, they were forced to change their dates and themes when Starmont forfeited the game against Postville this Friday night, October 5. With no game on the schedule, Postville was unable to continue with Homecoming festivities.

The administration has noted that Starmont chose to forfeit the game as they have so many injuries, and they are unable to field a full team. The game will go down in the record books as a win for Postville.
