PHS earns eleven Division I ratings at District Individual Speech Contest

Saturday, February 24, the Postville High School Speech Team traveled to Riceville for the District Contest. The group entered 21 pieces in the contest and eleven of them earned Division I ratings and will advance to the State Contest.

Advancing to the State Contest in Sumner are Wilson Perez, Radio News Announcing; Aleesa Lavrenko, Poetry; Andrew Hernandez, Prose; Emma Heins, Acting; Justin Hileman, Acting; Veronica Santoyo, Public Address; Jennifer Bernal, Acting; Hilary De La Rosa, Storytelling and Prose; Sapphire Miller, Acting and After Dinner Speaking.
