PEPTO continues to raise funds as they promote camaraderie between district and parents

The PEPTO (Postville Elementary Parent Teacher Organization) continues to work hard for the betterment of the students and school facilities.

They are set to begin installing the new playground as they continue to finalize funding. Most recently they have received a $500 grant from Walmart, $1,000 from Farmers Union Coop and Land O’Lakes matched their donation with another $1,000.

Black Hills Energy also gave $1,000 and offered to help with the deconstruction of the old playground and the construction of the new equipment this summer.

The PEPTO group had its regular meeting in January and the following items were highlighted: the playground equipment is scheduled for installation this summer and volunteers will be needed in July to help with the installation.

The focus for the February meeting will be computer science. Information will be provided for parents and there will also be a question and answer period concerning the technology.  All Parents and Teachers of Elementary Students are invited to attend on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. in the Elementary Media Center.
