Pastor Kate Rupert serving as interim pastor at Community Presbyterian Church

Pastor Kate Rupert, who spent most of her youth in Wisconsin, has recently moved into the position as interim pastor at Community Presbyterian Church.

Having studied at the University of Dubuque, Kate and her husband, Tim, have lived in Northeast Iowa for three and a half years.

She explained, “Tim is the Pastor at Zalmona Presbyterian Church in rural Waukon and I have been working as the office manager at First Presbyterian Church in Waukon. I have also done teaching at the University of Dubuque.”

However, after completing her education Kate was anxious to transition into a pastoral role. She said, “I have completed my course work for both a Master of Arts in Religion and a Master of Divinity."

Pastor Kate  is in Postville Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m.  Sunday services are at 10:15 a.m.
