Kwik Star joins Postville business community

Kwik Star opened its doors in downtown Postville late last month and held its Grand Opening Wednesday, February 26. As part of the celebration, the Kwik Trip/Star family/organization gave donations to two Postville nonprofit organizations which serve the community. Postville Community Support, also known as the Postville Food Pantry, received a $1,000 donation which will be used to purchase food for those in need through the Northeast Iowa Food Bank in Waterloo. As part of Kwik Star’s Grand Opening Wednesday, February 26, the Kwik Trip/Star family/organization gave a $1,000 donation to the Postville Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PEPTO). The money will be used to help fund the new playground which is scheduled to be installed this summer.
