Guyer uses Thrivent Action Card to aid local pantry

Vada Guyer, a Postville member of Thrivent, used her $250 action card to buy rice and beans for the Postville Food Pantry (Postville Community Support) The rice and beans were distributed to dozens of clients who utilize the pantry. Guyer noted in a temple talk she gave recently at her church, St. Paul Lutheran, that it is more blessed to give than receive and by purchasing the beans and rice with her card she was able to help put food on the table for many in need.
