Grand opening of New Chabad Center and Jewish Welcome Center to be held June 30

The Jewish Community Welcome Center, which was recently completed and is located 102 S. Lawler Street, will hold a grand opening and ribbon cutting this Sunday, June 30 at 1 p.m.

The Center, which will serve as both a Jewish Community Welcome Center and a Chabad Learning Center, was funded by many donations.

Center organizer Rabbi Aron Schimmel said, “We were fortunate to have many organizations and individuals donate toward this project. Their donations helped make the Center become a reality.”

Among the donors mentioned were Hall Roberts’ Son, FreedomBank, Dr. and Mrs. M. Lederman, Larry Schultz and Aaron Goldsmith to name a few.
