Critic’s Choice Award

The Postville Large Group Speech Team, under the direction of Derek Friederich, had two events chosen for the All-State Festival last week. They were TV News and Brayan Silva’s Mime presentation.

The news team of Litci Marroquin, Emma Heins, Kelsey Mucia, Brayan Silva and Andrew Hernandez was awarded the Critic’s Choice at All-State. Postville now has the honor of displaying the TV News banner at the High School for the next year. Being chosen as Critic’s Choice is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon a team. The TV News presentation was very well-received by the critic as she said, “The video was professional-level and the video production services would be impressed by the quality of the work.”
