Council approves change orders for Wastewater Treatment facility

The Postville City Council accepted a bid from Town and Country Sanitation for residential garbage pick up for the next five years as they submitted the low bid.  Also submitting a bid was Waste Management although their bid was considerably higher.

City employee, Chris Hackman discussed with the Council several possible change orders requested by Wapasha Construction for the Wastewater Treatment Facility.

Change orders that were discussed were:

A relocation in the head works building. Hackman explained that this change would aid in snow removal efficiency. The cost of this change will be $3,965.25. It was accepted unanimously.
