Camarillo finished second at District Wrestling at Luther; will compete at State Thursday

Postville’s Uvaldo Camarillo competed at the District Wrestling Meet at Luther College, with South Winn as the host school, Saturday. The 120 pound Pirate finished the day in second place, and earned his second trip to the State Tournament.

Caleb Hughes who had qualified for the District at 113 did not wrestle due to illness.

Camarillo will wrestle at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines in first round action on Thursday evening at 6 p.m. He will be wrestling Happel of Lisbon.
