Annual Veterans Day Program to be held Monday in the Postville High School gym

The annual Veterans Day program, hosted by the Postville High School and Junior High Student Councils will be held in the high school gym next Monday, November 11, beginning at 10 a.m. However, prior to the beginning of the program the community is invited to the lobby of the Fine Arts and Civic Center for refreshments and coffee. The students will be greeting guests, who wish to attend this pre-program reception, anytime after 9 a.m.

Speaker

This year’s speaker is David Ruckdaschel who graduated from Postville High School in 1983.

Quilts of Valor

As a highlight of the program, the Postville Quilters for Veterans will present six Quilts of Valor to area veterans.
