Annual scrimmage held for Pirate sports; new concession stand showcased

The annual Postville Pirate Scrimmage and player auction was held Friday evening on the football field and inside the high school gym.

The Booster Club hosted the player auction when all scrimmages were completed. The auctioneer was Mike Monroe. With local businesses and individuals bidding on the players, over $8,000 was raised for the athletic department. Those in attendance also had a chance to check out the new concession stand which is located near the football field.
