After loss to Dunkerton, Lady Pirates bounce back for win against Clayton Ridge

Dunkerton

The girls traveled to Dunkerton last week and were not able to focus early as they fell behind 18-5 at the end of the first quarter and found themselves down by double digits all of the second quarter. Although they fought back and out scored the opponent in the third, they would come out on the short end, losing 36-65.

Clayton Ridge

The girls hosted Clayton Ridge on the Pirate court last Friday night.

Coach Aandi Deering said, “We came out focused and ready to play the game. Right from the jump, the girls were working hard and moving with a purpose. They worked together and cleaned up the boards.”

The Pirates were slated to play Kee High at home on Tuesday and looking to improve on how they played against them early in the season.
